“Vecco” is Jacinto Jaure’s nick name. Given by Paula many years ago, this is the name that his sons, and close friends affectionately call him by. The family anecdote tells us that Paula, being a native New Yorker, spoke very broken Spanish… when trying to lovingly call her husband by “Viejo” (cute old man in Spanish), she could not pronounce the letter “J”, and every time she would say the word, it sounded like “C”. At a very early age, Paul & David heard their mom calling their father “Vecco” and immediately made use of this nick name for Jacinto. Ever since, the name “Vecco” signifies love, care, great affection for the Jaure household.
